Dear Me

Just writing out Christmas cards - as one does - and I was reminded of a story I heard some years ago about a woman who bought a pack of 20 identical cards.

She had written out - and posted - about fifteen of them before she bothered to look at what the message in them was. To her horror, she found the following:

"This simple card is sent to say
A little gift is on its way!"

It turned into the most expensive Christmas she'd ever had...
